Background

Kanz ul-Huda (KUH) – Humanity Matters is a not-for-profit making foundation established in March 2003, founded by Pir Muhammad Saqib bin Iqbal al-Shāmi and has, since, grown from strength to strength. It registered as a Charity in November 2009. Starting its operations in a modest location on 108 Newton Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham with a small congregation of people, the organization has rapidly grown.

KH in a short space of time, has made great leaps in creating a solid and firm foundation upon which to create a golden age of Islam in the UK and the wider world. This organisation, with its numerous dynamic, skilled, committed, and forward thinking members has worked diligently in re-establishing the traditional sciences of Islam via many initiatives and projects, and in adopting a multi-pronged approach in its drive to tackle the problems and ills that have beset not only the Muslim community in Britain but non-Muslim communities too.

    Governance

KUH has a strong and supportive Management Committee and Volunteer Workers which is rich in organisational, training and financial management skills, as well as a number of adult volunteers who regularly assist the organisation across the full range of its projects.
The Management Committee provides the leadership in governance to the organisation, giving the organisation a clear vision in providing specific projects, targets and funding.
